Ann Karns (Ms. K.)

Executive Director

Ann has been the Director of CC since 2005 and the proud owner since 2015. She is a San Mateo native with a Bachelor’s degree from Notre Dame de Namur University and also holds a California Teaching Credential. Ann loves teaching kids new things and that’s what keeps her young at heart!  

Andrea Dominguez

TK & Kindergarten Teacher

Andrea is a UC Berkeley graduate with a degree in Social Welfare. This is Andrea's 4th year as our kindergarten teacher. She previously worked with the kindergarten group as a teacher's aide. She enjoys watching her students learn, discover and interact with the world around them. In her spare time Andrea loves watching movies and hiking with her dog, Tebow.



Tracy Molyneux

2nd grade Teacher

Tracy has her ECE certification and has been a teacher at Curiosity Corner working with different grade levels since 1999. She is a native of Belmont and, in fact, her family has lived in Belmont over 80 years. She is happy that she can work in the community where she grew up. Tracy is a true sports fanatic, loves camping, the beach, reading, travel and most of all, working with kids!

Nicole Spencer

3rd, 4th, 5th grade Teacher

This is Nicole's 4th year with the CC team.  She's currently attending San Francisco State majoring in Education. After she finishes school she would love to become an elementary school teacher. If she has free time, Nicole loves to shop, eat, or just enjoy the company of her friends and family.

Kim Cacace
1st grade Teacher
Kim graduated from SFSU with a degree in Kinesiology. She has worked at CC since 2007! In her free time she enjoys painting, photography, hiking with her dogs, and attending sporting events. She also enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for earth and human sciences, astronomy, and history with her students.



Sandra Morales

3rd/4th/5th grade Teacher

Sandra has been working at CC since 2008 mostly with the “big kid” group grades 3-5. She was previously at the Kollage Community School for the Arts in Belmont as a pre-school teacher. She was also a co-director and taught summer art camps for elementary school students. Her true passion is working with children to guide their creative learning through art. In her spare time, she loves dancing, music, the beach, and spending time with family and friends

Lauren Turcios

TK & Kindergarten Teacher's Aide

This will be Lauren’s 5th year with CC.

She is also from San Mateo and is currently attending the College of San Mateo, majoring in nursing. Lauren enjoys working with others and spending time with family and friends. She is a HUGE San Francisco 49er and Giants fan.


Zoe Frazier

3rd/4th/5th grade Teacher

This is Zoe's 3rd year with CC. She originally hails from upstate New York and is from a family of ten children with thirteen nieces and nephews --currently ;)

Zoe has worn many hats in her career including Abstract Artist! She really enjoys teaching art projects with the kids at CC.


Danielle Bakman

TK, Kindergarten & 1st grade Teacher's Aide

Danielle currently attends SF State with a major in Political Science. She has been working with kids for about 7 years. Danielle loves the SJ Sharks and is a huge Disney fan. She enjoys the beach, traveling and is a huge animal lover!


Anita Gutierrez

3rd/4th & 5th grade Teacher's Aide

Anita grew up in San Francisco and has been a Peninsula resident since 1985. She has 2 wonderful kids and a great husband. Anita loves to be around kids and watch them grow into fine people. She loves to travel and go shopping! She's also a huge SF Giants and 49er fan

Syanna Coral

3rd/4th & 5th grade Teacher's Aid

Syanna is currently attending the College of San Mateo, majoring in child development. She enjoys interacting with her students, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a huge Warriors fan!

Lori Ishkanian

3rd/4th & 5th grade Teacher's Aid

Lori actually was a Fox School student and attended Curiosity Corner when she was a little girl! She has an AA degree with emphasis in Health Science and plans to major in nursing in the future. Lori enjoys helping her community and currently volunteers at Stanford Healthcare Hospital. She loves to dance and is a member of the Armenian Yerevan Dance Ensemble. She also loves shopping, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
